EVEN GOOD PEOPLE FALL

2 Chron 35:21
21 But King Neco sent ambassadors to Josiah with this message: "What do you want with me, king of Judah? I have no quarrel with you today! I only want to fight the nation with which I am at war. And God has told me to hurry! Do not interfere with God, who is with me, or he will destroy you."
NLT ** Even with all the great things that Josiah did and was doing and even though he was considered the great king, he did not listen to God and then his life ended. It was clearly said that “King Neco was sent by God to go where he was going.” But Josiah went to fight him and it cost Josiah his life. This shows me that often times we can be great people of God and be considered among others as “great Christians” or “great people” and yet if we don’t listen to God on a regular basis, it could cost us our lives. Never back off of following God closely or listening to His voice every day. Proverbs says, “In ALL your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths.”
