OBEY?.... OR NOT?

Deut 29:19-20
19 When such a person hears the words of this oath, he invokes a blessing on himself and therefore thinks, "I will be safe, even though I persist in going my own way." This will bring disaster on the watered land as well as the dry. 20 The LORD will never be willing to forgive him; his wrath and zeal will burn against that man. All the curses written in this book will fall upon him, and the LORD will blot out his name from under heaven. NIV
** This is so dangerous! People just don’t count the cost and it will cost them EVERYTHING! These chapters I read today, (28 & 29) bring fear into my life but at the same time, I know if I obey and do all He is asking me to do, I will be blessed above and beyond all I could ever ask or imagine! So it really boils down to this…. Obey or disobey? God is not the bad person here. He is just pointing the way to prosperity and blessings and informs us what the other road is like if we do not take His road to blessings….. what do you choose?

Blessings Pastor Dave -
I remember having a conversation with someone about this very subject. They didn't speak to me for a couple of months (which was painful, but the Lord helped me through it). I choose to obey. It hurts when I know I have not heard Him, or have chosen to ignore Him and don't obey. Then I go to Him and apologize (repent), but I still feel bad because I missed an opportunity and most times the opportunity is missed and can't be recovered.

By the way, have you noticed that junk stuff is getting posted as comments to your blogs? It's really weird.

Blessings,

Roxanne
