As The World Turns OR Days of our lives?

Oh my gosh! Deceit, death, lies, rape, murder….. the list goes on! All Hollywood needs to do to get fresh ideas for new movies is read the Old Testament. AND what is this about David? For a man that seems to be such a great warrior he sure seems to give up so easily and run from the palace to let Absalom take over. We can learn so much from the last two days of journal readings if we can just pay attention on who is the good guys and who is the bad guys. One lesson learned here is that no matter how good you are (as in David’s case) or how good of a king you are, you will pay the price for sin in your life. Just notice David’s life before he committed adultery and then look at it after and you’ll see that sin NEVER pays off. It may be a while but the debt collector for sin will show up and demand payment one way or another.
