WHAT TO DO
1 Sam 2:35
35 I will raise up for myself a faithful priest, who will do according to what is in my heart and mind. I will firmly establish his house, and he will minister before my anointed one always. NIV
** God is looking for people who will “do according to what is in His heart and mind.” And so many people just go thru life and follow their own desires. How sad it is that God wants to bless people and make their paths good and straight and yet they choose the cursed crooked path. Today I choose to be a faithful priest who will do according to what is in God’s heart and mind. I choose to be the pastor, husband, father that He desires for me to be.

Me too. I'm reading an excellent book (part of Cleansing Stream Discipleship class) called Total Forgiveness by R.T. Kendall - really giving me some things to think about, but I know that the Lord blesses me everyday and I know He searches my heart to make sure I do not have any bitterness or unforgiveness lodged there. Reading this book reminds me that I should search my heart daily as well. Somehow this all ties into total surrender / obedience to God.
