THERE IS HOPE...... IF
Jer 15:19-21
19 The LORD replied, "If you return to me, I will restore you so you can continue to serve me. If you speak words that are worthy, you will be my spokesman. You are to influence them; do not let them influence you! 20 They will fight against you like an attacking army, but I will make you as secure as a fortified wall. They will not conquer you, for I will protect and deliver you. I, the LORD, have spoken! 21 Yes, I will certainly keep you safe from these wicked men. I will rescue you from their cruel hands." NLT
** Here the Lord clearly lets Jeremiah know the right way to live and to act. IF you return to me, If you speak words that are worthy, YOU are to influence THEM not them you. Then He tells Jeremiah that He will protect him and keep him safe. I believe it’s because Jeremiah did the IF’s. Those same If’s are available to us today. Is your life going bad? Does it seem like nothing works for you anymore? Is there trouble that surrounds you daily? IF….

I love the last part of verse 20. "I, the Lord, have spoken!" It is so concrete. You can hear the authority and promise in that one statement. We can be sure that when we choose to obey the "if's" that God has placed in our lives that there are no if's, and's or but's about what God says He will do! That is exciting! I love that I serve such a Faithful God.
