DO YOU BELIEVE?

1 Sam 14:6-7
6 Then Jonathan said to the young man who was carrying his armor, "Come and let us cross over to the garrison of these uncircumcised; perhaps the LORD will work for us, for the LORD is not restrained to save by many or by few." 7 His armor bearer said to him, "Do all that is in your heart; turn yourself, and here I am with you according to your desire." NASU
** I don’t think we trust God like this anymore. I mean look here at Jonathan. He put his life on the line to see if God was with them or not. At any given time, if God was not with them, they could have been overcome by the Philistines and had been killed. Oh I want to trust in God like this. I want to believe and then act upon all of God’s promises and His commands. I really believe that we’ve just stopped even making a challenge to ourselves whether or not God is with us or not. THEN just look at Jonathan’s armor bearer… “whatever you say, I will do.” I will fight with you and I will die with you, but I will never leave you cause I believe in you and in the God you serve! I think we all need an armor bearer in our lives. Someone who will walk beside us and support us in our adventures with God.
