TRUE WORSHIP

2 Chron 5:13-14
13 The trumpeters and singers joined in unison, as with one voice, to give praise and thanks to the LORD. Accompanied by trumpets, cymbals and other instruments, they raised their voices in praise to the LORD and sang: "He is good; his love endures forever." Then the temple of the LORD was filled with a cloud, 14 and the priests could not perform their service because of the cloud, for the glory of the LORD filled the temple of God. NIV** This is true worship. When God’s people join together with one purpose, one voice and that is to give praise and thanks to God, it moves Him! When we come together, if we could just keep our mind set and remember it’s not about US but it’s about HIM. Not only will He receive TRUE praise and worship but all of our needs will be met because we decided to get our priorites in order and seek first the kingdom of God. I also believe that when we learn to seek God first and place Him at number one in our lives, we would not live tired lives as we do. The scripture is very clear when it says “they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings as eagles. They shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.” O LORD TEACH ME TO WAIT! Oh, and by the way..... the result of true worship? The presence of God was so strong that they couldn't even stand... Now I want that.
