DO I REALLY BELIEVE?
John 20:27-29
27 Then he said to Thomas, "Put your finger here and see my hands. Put your hand into the wound in my side. Don't be faithless any longer. Believe!"
28 "My Lord and my God!" Thomas exclaimed.
29 Then Jesus told him, "You believe because you have seen me. Blessed are those who haven't seen me and believe anyway." NLT
** Ok, so I’m going to confess. There are times when I just need more than faith to live by. I really need for God to do a whammy right before my eyes and shock me to my inner most being. I’m sure there has got to be others that go thru the very same thing. It’s not that I don’t believe in God nor is it that I don’t believe that miracles exist today, I truly believe both to be VERY true. I just need physically assurance that what I’m giving up my life for is real! With that said, I will let you know that no matter what happens, whether or not I ever see anything that I think is from God, I choose to still serve Him and believe in Him. I will not be moved by what I do or do not see….. but sometimes I just need to see….

Pastor Dave,
You are not alone. I think sometimes I just get tired because of being bombarded by the world, the enemy, other people who are too weak (or too lazy) to stand firm on their own and I get worn down. I think God knows all this and every once in a while He does show me physical evidence of His presence. He is so good.
Boy, was last night great - you John Bevere said a lot of things that you said in your message yesterday (*incredible) Have a great week at camp. See you when you get back.
Roxanne
