ENDURE TO THE END
Matt 24:13-14
13 " But the one who endures to the end, he will be saved. NASU
** Endurance…. Not the strongest, not the most prosperous, but he who endures will be saved. Showing up day after day to your prayer closet. Showing up week after week to church even though you don’t get nothing out of it. Continuing to serve Him day after day even though it doesn’t seem rewarding. Enduring! Minute by minute, hour by hour, day after day, week after week, month by month and year after year….. staying faithful and enduring thru all the mire and muck. Choosing to follow Him no matter what. Keeping your eyes on Him for He is the faithful and true God that will never leave you nor forsake you. No matter what others say about you or do to you….. I say unto you…. ENDURE TO THE END!

This really speaks to me today as things are so absolutely crazy at work right now and my character is being sorely tested. I need to just keep showing up and practicing His presence moment by moment so that I am not an embarrassment to God.
I had a nice conversation with my friend David this morning. He was at the coffee shop reading his bible and it is nice to have a lucid conversation with him. I see God working strongly in his life towards restoration. I will miss him when our office moves at the end of this month.
Also, I am reading a really interesting book on the 6 dimensions of faith called Streams of Living Water - they are Contemplative, Holiness, Charismatic, Social Justice, Evangelical, and Incarnational
Very good read. This morning I learned that the word liturgy from the Greek word liturgia actually means "works of people". Hmmm?
