STEAK OR SOUP?

A bowl of soup with someone you love is better than steak with someone you hate. NLT
** If it’s a choice, then I’ll take soup even though steak is one of my favorite foods. I have had dinner with people who didn’t like me nor did I like them and boy was it a LONG dinner. On the other hand I have eaten with people that I enjoy being around and it never seems like there is enough time to do all the visiting that I want. This verse speaks to my heart (if you ask my wife she’ll confirm this.) because I’ve never been a soup eater unless it’s filled with steak! J Eccl 2:24 A man can do nothing better than to eat and drink and find satisfaction in his work. This too, I see, is from the hand of God, NIV I like this verse because it definitely describes me!
